FREE CPR TRAINING - JAN 2020

We are hosting a free CPR training course delivered by Irish Heart Foundation on Jan 18th, 2020 at Ashbourne GAA Club.

Around 5,000 lives are lost every year in Ireland to sudden cardiac arrest – that’s 13 people dying every day.
The @IrishHeartFoundation is creating a nation of lifesavers and offering FREE CPR training across Ireland.
#HandsForLife supported by Ashbourne Lions Club, @Abbott and @ESB Networks
The course concentrates on recognising cardiac arrest, making the emergency call, listening to the call taker and knowing your Eircode. Candidates then get to practice compression-only CPR on a manikin. Awareness of how to use an AED, how to help someone who is choking, how to perform CPR on a child, recognising stroke and the difference between a cardiac arrest and a heart attack are also covered – all in only one hour and for FREE.
At Don/Ash GAA CLUB @ 10, 11.30 and 1pm on January 18th, 2020

 Register for free at www.ashbournelions.com

Appreciate if you could share with the club members.
