The Annual Lions Club Table Quiz 2019 was a great success and we are delighted to announce that we raised over €1300 on the night. We wish to thank everyone who attended and all the local businesses, clubs and individulas who made a contribution. The funds will be used to distribute winter fuel throughout December and January.
Winter Fuel: - Every year the Lions Club buy 'a load' of "winter fuel" (usually coal & briquettes) to be distributed by Lions Club members to vulnerable people who need help with heating their homes. Distribution continues usually throughout December and January each year. Thanks again for supporting this project, it is much appreciated by the recipients. We look forward to your support through our Quiz Night in 2020
