Ashbourne & District Lions Club Winter Food and Fuel Appeal in aid of St Vincent de Paul Ashbourne and Ratoath.
In this year of 2021 the needs are so much greater than last year so we are asking you to please donate the value of whatever you would have purchased on the day. The Lions Club will work with St Vincent de Paul and distribute Food and Fuel vouchers in line with Covid regulations to those in need within our communities. There are THREE fund raising options to choose from to support this wonderful annual cause. 1. Nov 1st until Dec 24th 2021 Donate online now to the food and fuel appeal. All funds raised are distributed locally in Ashbourne, Ratoath, Curragha and all local districts. 2. Saturday December 6th Virtual SANTA DASH and meet SANTA at Murtaghs between 12PM and 3PM. Sign up for SANTA DASH HERE 3. 100km Santa Cycle Loop Close to Ashbourne ( Restricted Entry) . Cycle in 10KM sections as long or as short as you want to ! 100km Santa Cycle Loop from the Fox Inn Ballymadun to Garristown National School, and return to Ballymadun. This is a 10Km cycle loop and you are welcome to cycle as many loops as you wish. ONE to TEN. The Cycle will commence at 9am at will end at 3pm and you can join in on as many of the 10km Loops as you wish" "A complementary hot Whiskey awaits you on the finish line too in the carpark of the Fox Inn Ballymadun. " If you complete ONE or TEN we would be delighted to present you with your participants medal at the finish line. So please join us, wear a Santa Hat or Santa outfit or anything you see fit !
